Children receive very special treatment at Tulsa Bone & Joint Associates.
While simple and complex bone fractures are the most common occurrences during these highly active years, Tulsa Bone & Joint is prepared to treat pediatric orthopedic problems, both surgical and nonsurgical. These include developmental disorders of the hip and foot, scoliosis, correction of angular limb deformities and limb lengthening, and care of the pediatric and adolescent trauma patient.
Please call 918-392-1400 to inquire about an orthopedic need for children 2 and under.
As children continue to be involved in athletics, particularly in their adolescent years, sports medicine plays an important role in pediatric and adolescent orthopedics. Our sports medicine physicians have specific training and experience in caring for younger athletes, including high school football players, soccer players, swimmers, and elite gymnasts. Treatment may include shoulder surgery, knee arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction, other surgical procedure, or nonsurgical treatment.
The goal is to repair the injury first, then strengthen through rehabilitation, and finally, return the athlete to his or her respective sport.
If your child has an orthopedic injury, call (918) 392-1400 to make an appointment with one of the orthopedic doctors at Tulsa Bone & Joint Associates or request one online.
