Anton’s favorite part about being a physical therapist is meeting and interacting with different people with different stories and helping them get to them get back to normal to do their work and hobbies.
Congratulations, Anton! We’re glad you’re a part of our team!
Our PT of the month is Tonya Ridley! Tonya has been a Physical Therapist with Tulsa Bone & Joint since our beginnings, going to work with Tulsa Bone & Joint doctors when she finished school 17 years ago. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2002. She has certifications in ASTYM, Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, and Kinesio tape certified. Her specialty is treating hip labral issues, and she has worked with our physicians to improve the rehab process after this particular surgery.
Tonya is a native to the Bixby area and enjoys living in a small town. She has two children who are active in baseball and softball, so they spend many hours at the ballpark. When they don’t have tournaments, they love to camp, go to the lake, and enjoy time outdoors!
When asked what she loves about being a PT, Tonya says, “Patients have a wide variety of backgrounds and life experiences, and I love helping them achieve their personal goals!”
Congratulations, Tonya! Thank you for all you do!
