A year ago, the dream of winning the State Wrestling Title seemed like an impossibility for Owasso High School student Justin Johnson after he tore his ACL while wrestling. Owasso Rams
Johnson started seeing Dr. Navin Kilambi of Tulsa Bone and Joint Owasso, team physician for Owasso High School. His treatment included an extensive surgery to repair his meniscus and ACL.
“They got me back wrestling quickly, but they didn’t let me come back until I was ready,” Johnson says.
Thanks to the treatment Justin received from the Tulsa Bone and Joint Owasso team, he was able to return to wrestling this year, his senior year. In February, he achieved the individual state wrestling championship title, the first time Owasso High School has earned the title since 1983.
