Congratulations to Chris Contois, PT of the Month for February! Chris has been a Physical Therapist at our main campus in Tulsa for 1 year.
Chris graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Physical Therapy program. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Graston Certified, Dry Needling Certified, Level 1 and 2 Functional Movement Screen Specialist, Full Body Active Release Technique Certified, Spidertech Kinesio Taping Certified, and Certified Cupping Specialist.
He grew up in a military family and has lived on both coasts, in the middle of the country, and overseas. He recently moved from Rhode Island to return to Oklahoma.
Chris’s favorite part of being a PT is being able to help people return to higher levels of function.

The January Therapist of the Month is Megan Burkdoll, OT. Megan completed a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Oklahoma. She is also certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations. She is currently studying for the Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) board examination (good luck, Megan!). Additionally, she is a board member for the Oklahoma Occupational Therapy Association (OKOTA).
Megan is a Tulsa-area native. She was born and raised in Broken Arrow and attended Bishop Kelley High School.
Megan says her favorite part about being an OT is getting to help patients return to the activities that bring meaning to their lives. “Being an occupational therapist has provided me with the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of hobbies, careers, and roles that I may not otherwise get to experience.”
Megan is a newlywed – she and her husband were married in June 2019. Their 1-year-old puppy, Tripp, keeps them busy.

Congratulations to our December PT of the Month, Anton Urgello. Anton is a physical therapist at Tulsa Bone & Joint Owasso. He graduated with his DPT from Saint Louis University on May 2017. He is also certified in Kinesiology Taping Certification.
His family moved to Chicago from the Philippines when Anton was 13. His younger sister is currently studying physical therapy at Saint Louis University as well. Anton is engaged to be married Summer 2020. He enjoys going to the gym, basketball, tennis, video games, and watching movies/shows on Hulu and Netflix.
Anton’s favorite part about being a physical therapist is meeting and interacting with different people with different stories and helping them get to them get back to normal to do their work and hobbies.

The Tulsa Bone & Joint Physical Therapist of the Month for November is Anthony Sylvester, DPT, Manager of Physical Therapy at Tulsa Bone & Joint Owasso.
Anthony received his PT and DPT degrees from Langston University. He is certified in the Jones Strain Counter Strain Technique. Anthony has been a national presenter at the aquatic section American Physical Therapy Association Conference.
Originally from Texas, Anthony and his family currently live in Creek County, Oklahoma. “I have two wonderful kids, and I am crazy lucky to have a wife who will put up with me,” Anthony says.
Anthony has been a great addition to the Tulsa Bone & Joint Owasso team in 2019. He is passionate about helping patients move their lives forward. “What I like about PT is the chance we have to make really positive impacts on our patients that allow them to be more productive and return to normal tolerances for day-to-day life.”

Joseph Terry is the Tulsa Bone & Joint Physical Therapist of the Month for October!
Joseph Terry is a North Carolina native who spent almost half of his early life overseas with his family. Part of this time was spent at Bond University in Queensland, Australia working towards his Doctor of Physiotherapy (Physical Therapy) degree, where he graduated from in 2016. He is now the clinic director/lead PT at the Tulsa Bone & Joint Bartlesville location and enjoys using physical therapy to help people resume their most cherished activities.
His favorite things outside of work include spending time with his wife and 6 month-old daughter, cycling, running, and just about any physical activity. #choosept
